Every week for the rest of 2025, I will be posting a blog post on teaching the theoretical concepts as prescribed in the CAT CAPS documentation. The goal is to give teachers practical ideas and inspiration on teaching the various ‘theory’ concepts.

I have always maintained that ‘theory’ should be taught in a more practical manner to help students get an actual grasp on the content. Doing it, however, is not that easy. I have created weekly blog posts which cover the various topics from ‘theory’ in the CAPS documentation to inspire teachers to try different ways of getting students to engage with the concepts.

Every Monday will have a post for Grade 10. Wednesday’s are for Grade 11 and Friday’s are Grade 12.
